Kira Rose Harrison's interest in therapeutic work began in 2014 when she attended the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. Kira has an Albuquerque-based bodywork practice where she focuses on working with adults 60+. In 2016, she began a Master of Arts in Mind-Body Integrative Studies at the University of Natural Medicine. Within this study, she found a deeper intellectual understanding of the mind-body connection, but she felt that the tools for practical application of what she was learning were missing. During her 200-hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training, she found the integrative, therapeutic approach to yoga provided those tools. Kira strives through her offering to empower, guide, and inform students to explore and experience how the practice of yoga can be personalized to be most nourishing and whole for them wherever they are.
